Low Emissions Fuels from
Plastic Waste

OVERVIEW
Our fuels are made from plastic waste rather than crude oil, using a low-carbon process. Pretty much any type of plastic waste can be used, including that currently deemed 'un-recyclable', such as municipal mixed plastics, polystyrene, and ocean plastic. The plastic does not have to be cleaned or sorted.
Various types of fuel can be produced. Our diesel can be used in existing diesel engines, and typically has 15% higher combustion efficiency than standard diesel and lower emissions.

OUR CAPABILITIES
Our optimised pyrolysis process converts plastic waste into fuels with world-leading efficiency. When dealing with un-recyclable mixed plastic, varying ratios of different plastic types between batches does not affect the quality of fuel produced. By-products of the process are syngas, which is used for electricity to power the process, and carbon black, which can be used for various industrial purposes such as in tires or printer ink.
Converting Plastic Waste into Premium Fuels
The flowchart below shows the process by which we convert plastic waste into premium diesel fuel. However, all types of fuel can be produced - including kerosene, aviation and even rocket fuel!

PLASTIC WASTE
Our process can take any type of plastic waste, without the need for cleaning or sorting. This includes municipal mixed plastics, ocean plastics, silage wrap and tires.
CHEMICAL PROCESS
Pyrolysis is a chemical process that heats material in the absence of oxygen. Our process is one of the most efficient in the world, with a number of operational benefits including modular design.
PREMIUM DIESEL
The premium fuel that is produced through this process is high performance and low emissions, and is ready to go straight into existing diesel engines without the need for further refining.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
.png)
No more expensive at scale than fuels made from crude oil

Can be blended with ordinary diesel fuel at any ratio

Has approximately 15% higher combustion efficiency than standard fuels

Inconsistent plastic inputs will not affect quality of fuel produced

Continuous production, with residues removed without needing to cool down the equipment

Low emissions process compared to conventional waste to energy processes

Can be used in existing diesel engines (automotive, trucks, buses, boats, off-grid power)

We have over 6 years of testing data of our fuel in diesel engines

Has an ultra-low sulfur content (less than 10ppm), meeting the highest international standards

No sorting of plastic waste required prior to processing

The technology is modular, making maintenance manageable

Closed loop process reuses the syngas by-product for energy, offsetting production costs

Meets (and exceeds) Australian Diesel Fuel Quality Standards

Can be stored for at least two years

Has approximately 15% higher heat value (and thus higher energy content) than standard fuels

No cleaning of plastic waste required prior to processing

The entire process occurs at low pressure and relatively low temperature, minimising any potential risk to workers

Water is recycled and reused

WHO WE WORK WITH

INDUSTRY WITH PLASTIC WASTE
Do you produce plastic waste at an industrial scale?
Contact us to learn about how to extract value from this waste, and avoid costs associated with storing or disposing. If you also require diesel fuel for your operations, even better!

MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTS
Are you a Municipal Government with a mixed plastics waste problem?
Contact us to learn about how you can convert this waste (particularly 'un-recyclable' mixed plastic waste) into fuels, that can power your vehicles - even garbage collection trucks!

PLASTIC
PRODUCERS
Are you a plastic producer looking for 'end of life' options for your products?
Contact us to learn about how we can help you earn revenue from these, and maintain your regulatory and social licence to operate.

FUEL
COMPANIES
Are you a liquid fuel company, or a consumer of fuels, looking for more sustainable options?
Contact us to learn about how you can procure 'Renewable Fuel' (as defined by ARENA) from local plastic waste rather than importing fuel from international markets.
