Our innovation is a chemical solution that extracts precious metals at higher yields in shorter timeframes than conventional processes. It can also simultaneously extract multiple precious metals such as gold, silver and palladium.
This process can be applied to electronic waste or mining ore/tailings dams, significantly reducing processing time and environmental costs associated with minerals processing compared to current processes which use dangerously toxic chemicals such as cyanide and aqua regia.
Our process uses a chemical solution free of cyanide, mercury or aqua regia to extract precious metals. It can be adapted to process waste streams such as e-waste or mining ore - both which contain precious metals.
Non-Toxic Metal Extraction from Electronic Waste
